A Call For Intercessors

Let the fires go out in the boiler room of the church and the place will still look smart and clean, but it will be cold. The Prayer Room is the boiler room for its spiritual life. -- Leonard Ravenhill

Calling the Church To Prayer

The Holy Spirit is intensifying the call to God's presence, calling His Church to return to the altar of prayer and intercession. God's heart and passion is to fulfill His redemptive purpose throughout the world. God is looking for Prayer Warriors to stand in the gap and bring His redemptive will to families, cities, and nations.

Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it."

Isaiah 62:7 "I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord do not keep silent, and give him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth."

Intercessors are an integral part of God's redemptive plan. When we pray and intercede God is making His appeal through us for that person or situation. We have the incredible privilege of representing the sick and the broken, our city and our nation to Christ. As we pray we are are also representing the finished work of Christ to the situation we are praying for.

Intercession is God partnering with man on behalf of the needs of a lost and sinful world. As the church comes together in united prayer, we make way for God to display His glory! Satan cannot stand before a wall of prayer and unity!
